I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University in 2008, and has equipped me with the knowledge of many applications of biological and physical sciences. I worked in a research lab in college and was responsible for training new students. In addition I acted as the supervisor of the laboratory for a group of high school interns, working to advise them on their research projects and educate them on basic laboratory protocols. As a recent college graduate (and current grad student), I am very much in tune with the subjects I am able to teach, and well versed in most fields of science. I graduated from the Honor's College at Xavier University, which required the completion of accelerated courses, even in areas outside my major. Currently, I am enrolled in a Master's program at Grand Valley State in the areas of Cell and Molecular Biology, with an emphasis on Biotechnology. A Little Bit About Me...

I just finished my first year of teaching science for grades 6-12 in a remote school in Nevada. It has been noted from a previous employer that I can shift very quickly between different groups of students to adjust to what is developmentally appropriate. I relate very well to both the junior high and high school age levels. I was the 8th grade class advisor and the junior high track coach. I maintained the science curriculum for a seven period, four day school week.
