I would say that my teaching style is very interactive. Anyone can give instructions but I love feedback from a one on one situation as well as a group environment. I base alot of my instruction on analogies; when a person can relate an experience or another word to a term being tought, their understanding is broadened and 99% of the time embedded in the longterm memory. That to me is not only developing the ability to draw on a built up knowledge base, but also broadens ones ability to convey what has been learned.

I love all sorts of positive ideals of teaching, especially when the teacher gives students the power to teach themselves by relating everyday experiences, such as sights and sounds with different lesson planners. I understand how the human works in a classroom, some students will grasp concepts because of their up bringing and the results of having a balance home. In my experience with teaching, I find that the best way to connect and convey the information is to provide aural, visual and experiential exposure to the material. Everyone does not learn at the same pace or through the same exposure to material. While completing my masters in Special Education, I have learned creative ways to help children with special needs that I work with. I have designed and coordinated a Resource Center to help students with special needs learn and achieve at their level. I have also designed and implemented a school for children with special needs.
