I tutored my collegues as a part of my high school and college studies.I consider myself to be well qualified because I graduated number One in my division from Rust College and attained many honors and join numerous honor organizations while obtaining my undergraduate degree. As an Honor graduate with a bachelors of arts in sociology, I have an extensive knowledge of various subjects. Some of the major areas of my degree that i am very familiar with includes: history, social science, american government, and spanish. I have also tutored 9th-12th grade students in history and english with Upward Bound at MVSU. My degree also enabled me to obtain extensive research and writing skills. I am a very patient and understanding person. I believe that patience is very necessary when trying to educate any person. I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years. I have much experience in math, science, and english with my past two degrees. I have tutored students in math, english, and science. I love to work with children who are eager to learn. I know that for most children having to study is not their top priority, so I try to make it fun. I am patient, and know that learning often takes repetition. I believe that most children have the power to learn, some just need some one on one attention.
