Learn one of the most spoken languages in the world.

I have helped other people learn Arabic in the past in a group setting. I am not a certified teacher but I am a native Arabic speaker and I can only do basic classes. I will need to look at your books first if you have any, otherwise we can create something based on your needs before we start your classes. I am flexible and my aim is to help you learn Arabic or advance in the language.
I prefer an interactive teaching style, I want to make sure that the student is more involved in the lesson than just me talking.

Arabic is one of my top subjects! I have been learning Arabic for almost ten years. I have experience with speaking Iraqi, Levantine (Jordanian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrian) and Egyptian dialects and reading Modern Standard Arabic.

I have been learning Arabic for the last ten years. I started learning Arabic in the military in 2009 where I have continued learning it since. Below exists a list of my major experiences and accomplishments with Arabic. - Learned Iraqi Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic for 18 months full-time. - Spent a month in Jordan in 2015 - Spent a month in Egypt in 2016 - Spent two months in Jordan in 2018. - In 2017, I spent 100+ hours assisting Arab refugees including spot interpretations and translations.
I prefer learning through doing and am open to other methods too. I have experience with tutoring students learning English as a second language and students of Arabic. With both, I like to focus on what the student wishes to learn. I believe this creates a strong incentive to use and improve with the language.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love to see students grasp a new concept and revisit their work with greater pride and confidence as a result. Realizing we all learn in differing rates and manners, I find great satisfaction in teaching in several ways at the same time (e.g., varying visual and auditory cues, telling stories and providing mnemonic devices). Having worked with issues such as ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia, I recognize and address learning challenges with patience, courtesy, respect -- and optimism. I believe that every successful experience with schoolwork, no matter how small, builds toward a cumulative good outcome for students at every level, and that the right tools exist for each of us to succeed in ways best suited to our unique character.
