Specializing in English, Spanish, and Elementary help!!

I like to be presented with the material at hand and evaluate what the child/student knows before I dive in. After this initial assessment, I take more of an interactive approach. I constantly offer feedback and guide the student in reaching the correct answers without just giving them away. If the problem calls for drawings or manipulatives, I utilize these resources to the fullest.
My area of expertise is the English language and grammar. I took two year's worth of Advanced Placement English classes during high school and made either 4's or 5's on both exams. I have 35 years experience in Bell System Management retiring as Operations Manager of Outstate Georgia. Most of this time was used managing, mentoring and teaching others in day to day operations and in class room settings. My strong suits are English, business letter writing, Political Science, Economics and basic Accounting. My major at UNC Chapel Hill was Economics within an overall degree of Business Administration.
