I adjust to the learner and speak their language, establish rapport through mutual respect, and try and make it as fun as possible.
While I was a Rotary Exchange Student – South Africa | 1999-2000, I volunteered to tutor students of various ages every subject, except Afrikaans, and was very pleased with their progress, and enjoyed it. I excel in the Arts (Creative, and Graphic), English, Statistics, French, Social Studies, Reading/Writing (especially essay) and would be best for college prep (Highschool ages grades 9-12), as well as Creative Arts for all ages. I graduated from TJ High in 2011, and I'm now attending High Point University as a Strategic Communication and Human Relations double major. I am also working toward a minor in Marketing. Throughout high school, I earned a 3.92 grade point average, which means in my 8 semesters, I only finished 2 classes with a grade lower than A. There is more than one way to teach and to learn

I have over of 30 years of progressive experience in tutoring young children in the elementary years of education in all subject matter areas. My specialty is literacy and reading, but I am also adept in teaching all of the math curricula as well.
