A Little Bit About Me...

As the daughter of an educator, I not only grew up understanding that every child could learn, but that every child deserved a sincere smile. Working with preschoolers has certainly tested my patience at times but also has increased my understanding of how a child learns and challenged me to find different methods of explaining information. I have always enjoyed learning myself and believe that children often do so as well if presented in a clear way that they find enjoyable.
As a graduate of Purdue University's School of Liberal Arts, I have been provided with a well-rounded education consisting of a variety of subjects. I love to write. As a pastor, professor, and playwright, I have actively been writing for the past ten years. I have written hundreds of sermons, lesson plans, papers and newsletters. I have also written five plays for young adults, one of which was published. I earned a master's degree in Divinity, a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a minor in Psychology, and further graduate credit in Communication from Purdue.
