My teaching philosophy is one that is formed based on my drive to inspire and my belief in academic excellence. I am inspired to be one of those teachers that students look back on and remember as someone who has helped them achieve their goals. To me, significant teaching accomplishments come through the achievements of the students. I graduated from high school as number eleven in rank out of 248. I often assisted other students in both high school and college. Later, as a homeschooling mother of four, I taught all of my children all subjects through the eighth grade level. I just returned from the island of Saipan, where I taught high school English in a private school, and seventh grade English in a public school. I presently am a certified substitute teacher in the Cumberland County, PA, public school system, where I teach almost all grade levels and subjects.
