I love teaching kids. All kids can are different in the way they learn. you need to be able to recognize those kids who are auditory learners, and hands on learners and be able to make a good balance of both so both kids may benefit. I like to set goals for each tutor session weather it be something like learning the alphabet or knowing you first ten multiplication facts. You then need to set one long term goal for that child to reach. this way each day they feel as if they have succeeded and learned something. I hope i can be an educator who can make just a little difference in children's lives.

I graduated from Hampshire College with a degree in Anthropology and Photography. These degrees required rigorous researching including an intensive semester of independent field study. My field study culminated in a 70 page thesis and correlated gallery exhibition. In addition, I have extensive experience composing and organizing shorter research papers on variety of subjects and laboratory reports. The bachelor degree that I earned in Business Management required a substantial academic effort on my part. I have been a photographer and receptionist for Bell Photography for 8 years now. And during this time spent at schools all along the Wasatch front, I am amazed at how many children have problems when they come to our lines. My formal education is High School. But I have done many other jobs including having our own business for 30 years, and the most important one.... being a Mother for 22 years. I now have my oldest two daughters out of High School and a son to graduate in May.
I know that there are so many children that are just plain scared.
