I love working with children and with adults. I especially enjoy watching a child's eyes light up when something makes sense. A Little Bit About Me...

Since I have tutored for several years, I've found that every person learns slightly differently. The key to how I teach is to figure out how that person best learns. There is no such thing as a stupid person, just one who hasn't been taught in a way that they can understand yet. I am a firm believer in never giving up on someone, particularly when I know that they can do it. Most just need a little help and encouragement to figure out that they ARE smart and they CAN do it, and that's what I'm here for.
I actually started tutoring while I was still in college, helping out one of the science/math teachers, and proctoring classes when she needed me to. I have a BS in Natural Science with a biology emphasis, from which I've gained knowledge in most areas of science and math.
