I have a passion for education. I am a lifelong learner that loves getting my student excited about learning. This is often easier said than done. I actually started tutoring while I was still in college, helping out one of the science/math teachers, and proctoring classes when she needed me to. I have a BS in Natural Science with a biology emphasis, from which I've gained knowledge in most areas of science and math. Besides helping to teach in college, I also was a tutor for three years, in several subjects including Chemistry, Algebra, Calculus I and II, Physics, and more. I have graduated from Wichita State with a BA of General Studies with a minor in chemistry, biology, physics, and sociology. I have helped high school students and college students in math and science courses.
I believe that you cannot do everything for the student. You have to find their learning style and then develop upon that to be able to open the door to learning of the subjects. There is no such thing as a good teacher with out a learning student.
