When getting my Bachelor's degree, English was my chosen major. I chose the subject because I love to read and write, and excel at both of those things. In high school and college, I tutored middle and high school - aged children. I was able to find and help those kids because my parents were teachers; thus, so were their friends who needed tutors. As a professional editor and writer, I have the experience necessary to help these kids grasp one of the harder languages, English. This can be different for every student, and the tutor needs to adjust to the student. A tutor has to be able to do this or the student will not be any better off. It is my firm belief that I need to find a way to connect with each student, and find a way to help them understand what they need to learn.
