I'm currently finishing my junior year as a chemistry major at The University of Arkansas at Little Rock. My minor is biology. Chemistry is a demanding field that requires knowledge in science as well as mathematics. My degree requires several math classes along witn chemistry classes. Before I became a chemistry major I was a biology major. I've had courses in microbiology, zoology, and anatomy & physiology. I believe the best way to approach a new student is to find out their weaknesses and strengths. Then, really put some hard work into making their weak points better and making their strong points the best they can be. I think that it is best for a student to know how to do their work with AND without a calculator for full understanding in mathematics.
