Throughout my high school career I maintained a GPA of at least 3.5. The same can be said for my college career so far. By majoring in Liberal Studies, I have gained an extensive knowledge of teaching methods as well as the ability to teach many different types of learners. I have tutored children in reading last summer. It was one of the most gratifying things I have done. I worked with English as second language children ranging from ages 5 to 13. We used a lesson plan and several activities to help children in achieving their reading level goals. Also, in my undergrad experience, I excelled in writing and was very good with meeting deadlines.
