A Little Bit About Me...

I work at the level of the student and I like setting goals with my students to create motivation. I am good with different teaching methods, whatever works best for the the student to learn.
I have been a tutor for over four years now. I work with all ages, at Sullivan Learning Company I work with K-8th, at Clovis High School I worked with high school students and I have done Spanish tutoring on my own with adults. I also teach Sunday school so I am accustomed of working with both individuals and big groups.

My comments on tutoring Elementary : I have helped in an Elementary school for four years and have had hands on experience about how to help children at this level with any issue that may occur

I have been in classroom settings and I have gained a lot of knowledge of how to be an efficient teacher. I soon will graduate from Fresno Pacific Univeristy as a Liberal studies major with a concentration in Spanish, as well as a minor in Spanish. I love seeing students become excited about learning and becoming self-directed learners. Oftentimes, this means that the student takes the lead and I am there mainly to provide encouragement and structure. I try to provide a safe environment for learning. I believe there are no dumb questions and it is OK to make mistakes. I encourage students to brainstorm and think outside the box.
