Effective teaching requires clear instructing. I attempt to break each assignment down to its simplest level. Ideas must be transformed into practical, relevant information that enable students to make difficult concepts easy to understand and comprehend. It is the only way to appreciate the rote and, in the end, capture the essence of the subject matter. Simplicity has been a key to my success as a teacher.
Having grown up with a family of educators, there was never any doubt I would become a teacher. I hold a MS degree in Educational Administration and a BS degree in English and have taught 26 years of high school, primarily seniors. I believe every student has their own learning style.
