I personally enjoy when teachers draw pictures or diagram examples to clarify complicated topics so I have adapted an active tutoring form. It involves the student to explain and participate in my session to properly get the hands on one to one experience and confidence to correct their mistakes. Since working with the disabled folks I have learned patience is a virtue. I also learned that each person is very unique and learns in different ways. I will meet your child's individual needs and try to show them a subject matter from a different point of view. I strongly believe that if a subject matter is presented in a more fun, exciting way to the student, it becomes more interesting and the child is given the chance to not only memorize material, but more importantly to internalize it.
