I am a fan of Howard Gardner- I believe each student has his/her own learning style. Knowing these learning styles can help both teacher and student accomplish academic success. I also believe in a gradual release of responsibility on the student's part. Teaching vocabulary before the actual lesson can help the student understand more completely.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from Worcester State College in January of 2009. My major course of study was economics. Along with economics, I took a variety of courses, including physics, and multiple US History courses. Besides economics I would say that these two subjects, along with writing and english composition are my key strengths besides my major area of study. After many years as an engineer, I began, in 1993, a new career as a teacher of English as a Second Language.
