A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent graduate of Syracuse University (December 2009) with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, I am very familiar with the concepts taught in most Mathematics and Physics courses. I was a peer tutor for two years at Syracuse tutoring in the following subjects: Calculus I, II, and III, Probability, Statistics, Differential Equations, Physics I and II, Thermodynamics, and Fluid Mechanics. This has enabled me to hone my tutoring style to a point where it is concise yet readily understandable (something that is especially easy since I was very recently in the same position many of the students are right now).

A Little Bit About Me...

I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses. Physics is my forte and I love talking about and teaching the subject. I am especially helpfull to students challenged by word problems. Throughout college I would host study groups in Physics and Chemistry. I currently am a financial advisor.
