I am a college graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education, a major in science and minor in English. I have obtained 22 credits of my masters degree in Teacher Leadership for School Improvement and am 1 course away from my Reading Endorsement. I am also ESOL certified. I am a certified teacher and experienced tutor. I have experience teaching 4th and 5th grades, all subject areas, reading intervention for 2nd and 3rd grade, and reading and math tutoring experience all the way from pre-k through 9th grade. I am currently in my 4th year of professional teaching experience and had 2 years of field experience while in college. In this time, I have worked with students across grade levels from elementary, middle, and high school in both classroom and one one tutoring settings. As a special education teacher, I have worked with students with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, emotional impairments, Austism spectrum disorder, and cognitive impairments.
