I received my BA degree in Ecology/ Evolution from the University of Utah. Many years later after serving in the military and starting a family, I went back to school to receive a teaching certificate in the state of NC, after moving to Arkansas with my family, I converted it to an Arkansas license. I have worked at Pulaski Technical College for 3 years tutoring several math and Science Courses. I love tutoring and enjoy assisting others in the pursuit of knowledge. I worked as a teachers assistant at Pulaski technical college for the head of the Biology department. I held a class that was not required but encouraged by the school to help the students in the biology course prepare for test and answer questions regarding labs. This class took place after the regular scheduled class and lab each week. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA at Pulaski Technical College and will graduate from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in December of 2014.

A Little Bit About Me...

First and foremost, I understand that no two children learn the same. I believe many children struggle in a learning environment simply because they are not comfortable with it. I excel at personal communication, and make it my first goal to find out how the student is going to learn the best. Whether it requires dancing, music, pictures, whatever it takes, once a student is comfortable they are far more likely to absorb information. This holds true for any age.
