My goal is to assist students in their learning process.

My teaching techniques relies on the fact that people learn different.It is a fact that a language teacher like me understood. Wrongly , as people use to think, teaching languages seems easier , but it harder than a math class. For me, there is one thing I relies on: The student ability to find the best learning strategy that feeds him or her.
I have been a journalist for year in a French newspaper. It was a great experience for me. Later I went to broadcasting(Radio) where I spent couple of year presenting News and programs in French. My comments on tutoring Microsoft Office : I'm very experienced using MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project. I've used other Office programs on a more limited basis.

I received my B.S. degree in Biology, and am knowledgeable about many sub-disciplines, including life sciences (plants/animals), genetics, evolution, and anatomy. I am generally able to explain difficult biological concepts in a more conversational way. I've worked with high school youth in the past (approx. 2 years experience) in a crew structure teaching job skills (resume writing, interviewing, etc.) and basic biological/ecological principles. I have worked with family and friends to teach basic personal finance and resume-writing tips to help them achieve great results. I am primarily an environmental consultant, and I routinely use MS Office programs to analyze, organize, and present data in easy-to-understand ways. I've taught several co-workers, family members, and friends how to use these programs effectively, and shown them helpful tips to make it easier.

A Little Bit About Me...

I work in Excel 2010 on a daily basis as a Business Analyst and have trained numerous people within my office on various Excel skills. I have even taught a class that was offered to my entire company on basic Excel skills. I perform vlookups, sumifs, concatenate, subtotals, create pivot tables, drop down selections, and various other functions on a regular basis. i am self taught on computers in software and hardware. Went to ITT for 6 months to be an electrical engineer, left due to medical issues. Worked for a C.A.D distributor for over a year in the warehouse and doing repairs and upgrades. Microsoft sent a copy of windows XP before it was released to the public to help set up that operating system to work with different hardware profiles. I have above average experience with computers and helping people learn how to use them.
