16 years dancing at Donna Scott School of Dance taking tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical. Accomplished many award winning performances for all styles at local and NYC competitions. I have performed in 13 musicals in 6 years, Dance Captain for 5 of those musicals, have taught multiple cast members tap dancing. I am also a proficient fine artist. Going for a degree in visual arts with a minor in dance at SUNY Fredonia.

During my junior year of undergraduate work, I was contacted by a professor and asked to become an English tutor intern for my fellow students and visiting exchange students from Aichi, Japan. I was told that this hands-on tutoring would also coincide with an upper level English class, a class in which permission of its instructor, the English department and recommendations from other professors were all required. I accepted the offer and began my brief journey as a tutor from January 2008-May 2008 and truly enjoyed the time I spent helping others learn the language and writing skills that go hand-in-hand with the English language. I believe that all students have a different way and style of learning. As an educator I take an open approach to teaching. For each student to succeed they must find a style of learning that suits them. I take the time to find the time to find the best way for the student to succeed.
In 2005 I graduated from Fredonia University with childhood education including a middle school extension in English. I completed my master's degree in Special Education from Medaille University in 2008. I hold a New York Certification in Childhood Education as well as English through grade 9. I have worked in many educational levels throughout the elementary and middle school. I spent 3 years as a teacher's aide in a pre-school setting.
