My goal in teaching is to help students understand how the scientific process affects them on a personal level. I try to connect science and mathematics to the world around them by helping them to understand science in the context of other disciplines, including art and politics. I enjoyed tutoring college students interested in physics. During my two years of experienced, I learned that students use different approaches solving physics problems. With physics, I try to apply the problem to a real world situation in which the student would be able to relate it to in which will help them fully understand what is being asked. I found it effective to help the students understand the concepts rather than the problem they are trying to solve.
