The bachelor degree that I earned in Business Management required a substantial academic effort on my part. Writing the essays, business evaluations and case studies was at times overwhelming to me but I was able to complete them in a satisfactory manner. The fact it was difficult helps me to project myself into the various viewpoints of my students so that I can impart to them a clearer understanding of the targeted subjects. As a Weber State graduate, I majored in Zoology and minored in Chemistry. Even though science has always been a passion of mine, I am very knowledgeable in math. During my undergraduate studies, I have gained even more experience and improved on my grammatical skills. I had the opportunity to be an Anatomy lab instructor for three semesters. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to tutor my wife with her math. At first, this was a challenge. Math is a subject where one cannot only rely on memory. I found that it's best to be very patient and teach the processes of mathematic principles, rather than just assume the person whom you're tutoring knows these processes.

I was first employed as instructor by Honeywell Aerospace (Phoenix) where I taught clients how to use various avionics and navigation systems for business jets. I did that for 5 years. The job required flexibility giving 1-on-1 as well as large-audience, seminar-type technical training. Later I worked as a simulator instructor at Simuflite (Dallas) teaching and certifying people how to fly business jets. I also have extensive experience writing/editing pilot manuals for various avionics systems.
I am relaxed, I smile easily, and love to give personal attention to people trying to learn. I believe that when technical / mathematical subjects are explained properly, anyone can learn and enjoy to do complex calculations.
