I have twenty years experience teaching biology, environmental science, anatomy and physiology and other life sciences. I was working on a PhD at Louisiana State University, however I realized that I was much happier teaching than doing research and I accepted this teaching position at Southeastern. I would like to return to teaching at a community college rather than do research or teach at a large four year institution. I have always derived great satisfaction from the success of my students. I believe it is the job of the instructor to share knowledge and teach skills. The measure of instructor success is student success.
