I am comfortable tutoring lower level math classes, mechanical design, or other engineering classes. Writing classes such as English, literature, or fine arts are fine as well. I have a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace engineering from MIZZOU. I am very proficient in technical editing, critiquing papers and writing technical papers.

Most lessons can be taught in various styles but teachers are often faced with a curriculum guideline that they must follow. When I work with others on writing papers, I always make sure to tell them why I suggest the changes I do. Making sure that they understand why I suggest a change is important. Reinforcing those rules while also pointing to an example on their own work always helps to show the students how to improve their own writing. I believe that showing them rather than telling them is a productive strategy to teaching composition and reinforcing the etiquette involved in essay writing.
