I love helping children learn.

I meet the student and work around their specific needs. If they are more energetic then I find things that will not only help them learn but will also allow them to use some of their excess energy. However if the student is more laid back I find more calm and relaxing ways to help them understand. I have a rewards system that allows the student to earn tickets that they can later use to get things that they can use.
I have helped my cousins, which are 9 and 11, in school for years with reading and writing. I am also able to help in environmental science and economics. In high school I completed both with an A-. I have also taken A computer class and a business class at Muskegon Community College and excelled at both. I am able to help a student learn to type more effectively. I am also able to tailor my teaching style around the student.

Loads of ASVAB success stories, I'm on multiple websites.

Hi! While I love tutoring, this particular site charges for contact, which I am not in a position to support. I am, however, also easy to find on a rivaling website (ends in ANT), just look for the ASVAB tutor in Muskegon who has been rated and reviewed. My pet project for years has been my ASVAB tutoring program. I began helping men and women get through the ASVAB test in 1998 (when I enlisted) and over time I developed a tutoring system that has been applied to dozens of successful military applicants. In reality, though, I've been tutoring longer than that. I helped tutor younger children when I was in middle school and I continued to tutor and mentor in a variety of arenas for the next twenty years. A Little Bit About Me...

I earned a Bachelors degree in English from Western Michigan University in 19997. I taught at the middle school and high school levels. My experience in the classroom has prepared me for other tasks such as tutoring outside the classroom. During my years of teaching I did provide tutoring services for students through the Urban League Organization.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with children. I believe that every child is capable of learning when given the necessary tools and encouragement needed. I left the classroom in 2006; however, I do not want to completely give up teaching and for this reason, I think that tutoring is a great match for me.
