My comments on tutoring Biology : provided study guides

Most of my adult life has been dedicated to helping people strive for and achieve personal and academic success. I have worked in the academic field for approximately 8 years; tutoring at a community college level for 4 years and scoring MEAP tests for 4 years. In addition, I have provided on the job training for individuals needing extra help. At the community college level I headed up study groups for Science classes, creating study guides and practice quizzes. I also individually tutored students in English and English as a Second Language. On the job site I implemented ways for the employee to perform his or her job duties using charts, visual cues and task lists. I truly believe that as an educator you must establish a connection with your students. This not only builds a great relationship, but also helps to develop a real understanding of your students and develop the best way to teach them through differentiation and accomodations. A Little Bit About Me...

Al though I have never technically tutored or taught a child writing, I am interested in helping aid a child's learning experience. I am extremely personable and social, and would get along great with any child. I am patient, understanding and eager to provide my extensive knowledge of writing to those that need help.
As a current student at Central Michigan, I continue to strive for the best education I can possibly achieve. I have clepped out or aced all english classes at the college level and have found a great interest in writing and reading papers and essays.
