A Little Bit About Me...

As a meteorologist visiting students I split my time up between lecture, group activities, visual experiments, and exciting weather video. I even had a section where the children helped me forecast and could stand in front of the camera and report the weather. I designed this lesson plan on purpose to hit on all the different learning needs of the students. In Physics especially tutoring, the approach that gives me best result so far is to directly engage the student in solving Physics problems. It is one thing to present the subject matter but it is a whole different thing to solve problems. Most students don't really understand the significance of the theory or law until they apply in solving physics problems especially those with relevance to real life situations.
