A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate of Alabama State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Graduating magna cum laude at the top of my class with a 3.65/4.0 grade point average, I was always sought after for help in those tough curriculum classes like physics, chemistry, genetics and molecular biology. In the spring of 2006 I began formally tutoring general and organic chemistry to college juniors and seniors for the physical science/chemistry professor at my university. In the summer of 2006 I picked up another work study job tutoring college juniors and seniors in Physics. I continued both of these jobs until my graduation in May of 2007. I am currently a high school science teacher, and I have experience teaching biology, chemistry, environmental science, and forensic science. I believe I have a great teaching style which enables me to relate concepts in a way that any new student to chemistry can understand. I love using visual aids to help get new ideas across, since I myself is a visual learner.
