I am Paine College graduate. I earned a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2006. While at Paine College I took variety of science classes including organic chemistry, atmospheric science, and cell biology. Since graduating, I have spent two years as a high school math teacher. I have also tooken graduate work in mathematic and math education. For the past eight years I have also work or volunteered as a personal math tutor.

I give my students the information, I show them how to apply the information through modeling, I practice with them and then I release them to apply the technique themselves. I try to put the difficult concepts of mathematics and chemistry into words and experiences that the student can understand. In the words of one of my tutees I teach "Barney-Style".
