I received a bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University in Elementary Education. I graduated in May of 2006. That August I began a leave in fourth grade at Douglas Elementary School. I taught first grade last school season at Grassy Elementary school. The two years prior to teaching at Grassy I taught at Sloman Primary School, also in first Grade. For many years, education has been one of my top priorities. I graduated salutatorian of my high school class and summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. In high school, I tutored in a local elementary school, focusing on developing students' grammar and composition skills.
