I beleive that patience and kindness are a key factor of working with students. As students are attempting to master content that is difficult, the teacher should demonstrate encouragement and patience. I also believe students learn in different manners. Therefore, if a student is not comprehending the information in the traditional manner, then a different approach is necessary. Recently, I obtained my Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching Language Arts 7-12. I have worked as a substitute, Ohio Achievement Test Tutor, and summer school teacher for the past five years.
