I believe that for languages, immersion is the best, if most impractical, way of teaching. Therefore, it is my goal to speak as much in the target language as possible in order to increase exposure to the language. I also believe that repetition is key, but through interactive games and everyday tasks, the rote memorization disappears within the layers of common use. Whether through writing it out, singing a song, or playing a game, each child's individual learning style affects how we can learn together.
I spent a year in Spain teaching English to elementary school students through games and interactive methods. I would say my teaching style is more relaxed. I believe this helps one see students weaknesses and strengths better. It also allows one to compare the overall effect of teaching for each student. When I see a student falling behind then thats when I take action and try top get them where they should be in that area.
My experience is one that has taken me many different places to meet many diffrent people. I have always had a gift of helping others and conveying to them my knowledge. I obtained my BA in English Communication from Talladega College and also i have a minor in History. I have had a great deal of expereince in writng papers, essays, articles ,and reports.
