A Little Bit About Me...

My experience is one that has taken me many different places to meet many diffrent people. I have always had a gift of helping others and conveying to them my knowledge. I obtained my BA in English Communication from Talladega College and also i have a minor in History. I have had a great deal of expereince in writng papers, essays, articles ,and reports. During my time in college, I also tutored Spanish speaking students in the usuage of the English language.
I would say my teaching style is more relaxed. I believe this helps one see students weaknesses and strengths better. It also allows one to compare the overall effect of teaching for each student. When I see a student falling behind then thats when I take action and try top get them where they should be in that area.

I have been a tutor for the past 4 years working for the No Child Left Behind Program. I taught English/Grammar/Writing to pre-schoolers through 5th graders. I am an excellent reading tutor/teacher. I have supplies and material that help children to have fun while learning English. Most of my children hate to see me leave when tutoring assignments have ended. I've always been a highly focused and disciplined individual in regards to academics; ever since high school I've taken a serious liking to chemistry and math, not only because of their importance in daily life but also for the mental challenges they pose. During my time at the Hazleton campus of Penn State University, I had the opportunity to tutor other students in these two subjects.
