I am a Native Arabic and French Speaker. I have spent the last five years teaching Arabic to Non-Arabic speakers at the American University of Sharjah. I have also worked with High school and college students tutoring Math. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and plenty of experience working in Learning centers, with tutoring companies, and privately. I try to avoid lecture in teaching. For me, personally, instruction comes from helping the student understand the material on their own without having to directly be told everything. This comes through in creative exercises that help the student to understand the concept better and to hold onto the idea much easier.
I have experience teaching not only at the college level, but also for grades 6-12. I was an English teacher during my most recent stay in France and I've tutored Accounting at Houston Community College.
