I have been involved with education for roughly the past five years, spending 2 as a substitute teacher, 2.5 as a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher and 0.5 as an Adult Education Instructor. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Studies Education from Morehead State University and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Alice Lloyd College. Classes I have taught include United State History, World History, World Geography and Law & Justice.
My teaching style varies depending on the students I am teaching. It consists of lecture notes, handouts, exams and quizes and games such as Jeopardy. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow as individuals. It is my job as the teacher to make learning both enjoyable and educational. My main goal in education is to make a difference in the lives of the students I teach.

I am a graduate of a highly prestigious teaching university: Morehead State University. I have earned two bachelor degrees in education. I have my p-5 degree in every subject and my k-12 special education degree in learning and behavior disorders. I have worked with all ages and am knowledgeable in my field of work. My previous job was at the number 1 school in KY: May Valley Elementary.
I am a structured teacher and a lover of knowledge. I believe that all children learn in different ways and at different speeds. I am a firm believer in holding students accountable and expecting great outcomes from them. I know that I make a difference in my students' lives because I make learning enjoyable and meaningful to them.
