In a world of specialization, I tend to break the mold by having rather wide academic interests. I earned a bachelors degree in Religion, then went on to earn an MA in Theology. Along with my educational background I was a Girl Scout Troup leader for three years and a volunteer for the American Lung Association and American Heart Association. I spent nine semester at FMCC in the TRiO Student Support Services program. I began as a part time tutor and after one semester the program director saw it prudent to keep me on. During my time with the program I helped to establish several tutoring programs, one at FM and another at Amsterdam High School for the Upward Bound Grant funded program.
