My comments on tutoring Violin : I have played for eleven years and taken private lessons.

I graduated from Presbyterian College with a double degree in biology and psychology and a minor in chemistry. Many of the courses I completed in biology were in the natural sciences such as paleontology, biogeography, and botany, which I flourished in. I also took organic chemistry I and II, biochemistry, and genetics, which I am good at as well. I've taken a vast array of psychology classes such as cognition, drugs and behavior, counseling, and abnormal psychology

I believe that all students can learn. It is the teacher’s responsibility to teach the standards in the way that the students learn, and to create a nurturing environment for the students. Over the last four years, I have spent countless hours working in classrooms cultivating my ability to meet that responsibility. I have spent time working with students from many different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. I not only enjoy educating students, I have compassion for students who struggle to succeed. I have learned that every child is unique and all have different learning styles and perhaps, that is why they are struggling with learning some information.
