I have worked with many young students. Reading, math, spelling... I find helping students very fun. Not only does it benefit them but me as well. I am very patient with people of all ages and I do feel that I have made an impact on many children's lives. I am currently a senior in High School but I am volunteering in my local church classes and volunteering for my local Elementary school as well. Patient, I provide learning ideas for my students, all I ask for are open eyes and ears.

I have extensive experience tutoring middle school through high school age students. I began tutoring groups of students as an exchange student in Austria, in 2012, working with 5th through 10th grade students in English at the BRG Koeflach (the local high school) where I was compensated as an official English tutor. In 2013, I assisted in German II, I would take half of the large class of over 30 high school students and teach the lesson for the day. In 2014, I assisted with German II, III and IV classes, answering student questions during lessons and helping in the classroom. I have provided one on one tutoring in many topics, including Pre-calculus, Calculus, Art History, U.S. History, Latin I, Biology AP, Chemistry, English as a Second Language, and German levels I, II, III, and IV AP.

I prefer to tutor face to face as opposed to online. I am in my 4th year of college at Texas State University where I have received a mathematics academic achievement award. I am going to Texas State majoring in mathematics and minoring in secondary education. I have completed many math courses as well as teaching courses since I have been at Texas State. I have not professionally tutored before but I have a younger sister who I help with her Pre Algebra homework. I also have two younger cousins that I have helped with homework as well.

I have mentored PhD research students on statistical analyses needed for their graduate thesis. While at A&M I taught undergraduate statistical methods course while earning my Master's degree. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Corporate Communication Studies. During my final semester as an undergraduate, I applied for Teach For America and was accepted as a 2014 Corps Member in the Rio Grande Valley. Part of my Teach For America Summer Institute required corps members to teach summer school at Houston ISD campuses, where I taught middle school math at Patrick Henry MS. I was hired by Harlingen HCISD for the 2014-2015 academic year at the Harlingen School of Health Professions as an Algebra I instructor.
