I'm at my best as a teacher when the student has a teachable spirit. I believe all of us (students, teachers and tutors) possess this. We have an innate desire to learn. Sometimes, though, that desire has to be gently prodded because it's been lost inside a student. I stretch my students, sometimes beyond what they think they can do. Encouragement and watchfulness go a long way in helping a student go further. Praise and accountability do, also. My job as a tutor or teacher is to find out how my student learns best, then adapt my teaching style to his/her skill level. I know how to do that. A Little Bit About Me...

Currently, I have been teaching Emergency Medicine to help Reynolds Army Community Hospital maintain 100% proficiency in job qualifications and standards. This includes slides and instructor led courses. I have taught in English in a School to a classroom size of about 30 students in Korea for about 6 months. This required me to make lesson plans and activities and a positive learning environment. At the same time I tutored students in English in a local orphanage. I taught and instructed fellow technicians about one year to increase yield productions in a manufacturing environment. Currently volunteering to tutor student in a program called Army Program Lawton Area Schools and I have also done this in the past but a program called Helping One Child Succeed Today. Since the age of six I have studied classical piano, recently finishing my piano studies at the bachelors degree level. I am currently finishing a general education science course and will receive my official diploma in August. I have taught many students from home as well as in a studio at a local music shop, on campus, and at churches. Teaching and accompanying soloists; instrumentalists, vocalists,choirs, and bands have been most of my work experience since graduating highschool six years ago.
