I graduated May 2013 from Fredonia with a Bachelors degree in Childhood Education. My concentration is in English. I spent a year of professional development in the Hamburg school district where I had student teaching placements in first, second, and fifth grade. I have spent the last year learning the Common Core standards and aligning curriculum to them. I've worked as a substitute teacher for the last 3 years and have 2 children of my own. I received my MBA while a Manager at Verizon for twenty years. My BA in Psychology, my GPA was 3.87. I often tutored children with mental health or learning disabilities in a variety of situations, upon recommendations from Psycholgists and professors. I myself had struggled with how to approach learning, as only recently diagnosed, after all this time , as ADHD.
