Geography is one of my top subjects! Currently and anthropology undergrad and have a basic background in geography.

A Little Bit About Me...

Initially, I began tutoring in Potsdam. I was able to work with students struggling in Math. In addition, I have teaching experience in Texas and New York. In Texas, I was able to teach summer school Math in order to assist students to pass their Exit-level exam. In New York, I worked as a director and tutor for Huntington Learning Center.
I care very deeply about the success of each of my students. My degree in Math did not come easily and I had to work very hard. I understand the frustrations of the students and try to show them how to complete their work in different ways. Since a classroom is filled with students who have different learning styles as described by Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, I use a variety of ways to teach. Lectures are done through power point presentations, along with worksheets and handouts. Hands-on has been used in anatomy and physiology classes. Adult learners bring a lot of experiences to the classroom, and sharing and discussing brings a different perspective.
