I wouldn't have a "professional" description for teaching style as my education was solidly based in the sciences. However, I believe that by teaching intuitive thought processes and critical thinking skills, students can easily adapt to the tasks given be they in science or liberal arts.
While planning for a career in medicine, I obtained a BS in biology with a minor in Chemistry. During the application and acceptance process I was an adjunct faculty member at a local technical college. My courses taught were remedial Algebra, biology, and anatomy and physiology. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with a double major from Fairfield University where I was involved with volunteer groups that tutored middle school aged children from surrounding areas. Over the years I have also spent time as a nanny and have been in charge of homework and school projects. I am confident that my nurturing and energetic personality is the perfect combination to engage children to want to excel.

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style, is to find the way the child learns best. Math can be taught thru several different methods or strategies. I really enjoy children and have found that it is just a minor thing or so that causes them to not like math, but when they see that there is more than one way to solve problems they change their minds. I reallly do feel that one on one teaching does help students to grasp the information, then they are more apt to show off their new found skills.
