I have been at Pennfield High School for almost 6 months now and I have learned how to incorporate the new standards into the curriculum. I am currently teaching part time in the Mathematics department, teaching the subjects of Geometry and Algebra. I also have spent 5 years working for the Carman Ainsworth School District as an At-Risk tutor. I have had to lower myself to the students’ level of understanding to make the subject of Mathematics make sense to each individual student. While an undergraduate at Michigan Technological University, I often helped fellow students with their physics or math homework. I also tutored a high school student in geometry for one semester while working for Study Point in Boston. I have extensive education and experience in Science, Engineering and Business.
