Writing is one of my top subjects! I have 24 years of writing legal motions, briefs, appeals and pleadings, including Complaints and Answers.

I love to speak Spanish, especially with native speakers, something I have enjoyed doing since traveling with my Westwood HS Spanish Club to Hermosillo and Chihuahua in 1968 and 1969. My Spanish fluency blossomed in 1971, as I began living in Chile for two years, working occasionally with the Chilean Dept of Visas. Since then, I have traveled throughout Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Mexico. Teaching others to speak Spanish brings me great joy.

Optimistic communicator sharing a love of reading & writing

I worked as a tutor while doing respite work for United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County in California. I am proud to say that the young man I worked with the longest is now finishing his BA in justice studies at Cal State Dominguez Hills. I also tutored as a substitute aid for the Ocean View School District in Orange County, California. Writing is one of my top subjects! Using mental picture to write and editing with colors is the best way to learn writing.

As a teacher, I encourage students to learn the traditional methods of learning, then use them as a guideline and modifier them to find their own learning style. One-size-fits-all only work when it comes to tube socks!
