Bringing Out The Potential In Students...

I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. I continued tutoring young students and adults in the 1990's, tutoring Basic Math, Basic and Intermediate Algebra, Basic Geometry, English Composition, Speech, Study Skills and the Sciences. Mathematics Teacher Grades 7-12

I like to have the kids be interactive with my my teaching. I have the kids fill out "fill in the blanks" while I am lecturing and I like to have the kids come up to the board and do problems after the lecturing. I also like to apply real world applications when possible.
I am currently working as a substitute teacher in many districts in metro Detroit. I have taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, and Trigonometry at Oakland Christian School where I did my student teaching internship.
