During my high school career I was frequently called upon to be a teacher's assistant. This was over fourth, fifth, and sixth graders the majority of the time. I also tutored a fellow classmate in Algebra q, chemistry and biology. I also currently have a job tutoring two sixth graders in math and english. They were at a third grade level when I began and are now into the beginning of fifth grade work. I have only been working with them for approximately two months.

Once I have an understanding of what a student is capable of I like to push them to go past their "comfort zone" in learning.
