My experience tutoring or teaching anything is from junior high with my fellow classmates to high school helping middle-schoolers. Now, in college, I help colleagues with similar studies. Laid back. I like to discover with the student, teaching them how to teach themselves in a way. My learning style, and therefore my teaching style, has always been to break a lesson down to its simplest form, and tweaking it to fit various situations. I am currently a returning student at Arkansas State University, majoring in Computer Science, and minoring in Math and Graphic Design. My goal is really for the person I am tutoring to fully understand the information they are trying to learn. In this way, they can understand the basics and build upon that. I believe the best way to approach a new student is to find out their weaknesses and strengths.
